20.12.2013 - ZF DPF Reception

How i always envision my wedding is by doing it kampung style, where guest can come and go i will be wearing traditional songket kebaya and traditonal kampung dishes will be served with classic desserts like ice kepal and putu bambu butttttt on my wedding day all my dreams were rejected by my mom the bridezilla hahaha but at least i got to wear songket la eventho she designed the garment (kebaya campak luar tingkap please haha) i still remember how we argued on the wedding veil because she wants it long like the late princess diana while i want it short and simple but she won the argument cause she plays the "mama teringin sangat masa mama kawin dulu tapi time tu tak mampu" card pffttttt :P but overall im super happy with my wedding because i made my mom happy that is most important.

19.12.2013 – Majlis Khatam Al Quran

I was actually a bit nervous about this event because it has been yearssssssss since I mengaji and I was telling my parents no need to do khatam quran la but they said my niece and nephew has khatam quran so we have to this event to honour them- so in conclusion I am more of a supporting actress hahaha but im so proud of my niece and nephew they ace their mengaji session actually they are the one who rehearse with me since my reading are sooo rustyy.  Enjoy the photossssss

18.12.2013 – Malam Bersiram and Berinai

This is by far my favourite event out of all my events because it is soooo intimate and all of us really had fun during the event. Since before I really wanted to do a bersiram event because coming from Perak their adat have this mandi mandi thingy but I am nooottt a follow the adat type of a person but I definitely love water hahaha. Initially was to have only my close friends and cousins to attend and makan nasik bungkus jer hahaha but then my parents was saying we should invite all the uncles and aunties as well since not many people does this bersiram and berinai thingy and surely they will love it but im glad we decided to invite all of them because it was really a fun night. All my gfs are dressed in white top and kain batik sarong and all my relatives took part in siram-ing me and the event became better when my brother decided to spray everyone with water J we end the night with berinai session where shera brought in a kakak who does this traditional inai tumbuk because I don’t quite fancy those lukis lukis type of inai. Everything went perfectly how I envision and million thank youssss to my darling bff Shera who does the bersiram deco with the help of my other gfs. It was superbly beautiful and I do not know how to thank all of you girls and Shera i am constantly praying you will find your prince charming really really soon so that i can help you plan your wedding, please know that i love you to infinity and beyond even now we dont lepak that often anymore :P

First of all, let me explain on our hashtag- some might have think that we are boasting but never in our intention to boast. The # was created in a whatsapp group conversation cause we think among close friends we need one so that its easier for us to view each other photos then our dear friend Mr Ajim was like “okla #zfweddingoftheyear la and all of us laugh la because we are so not wedding of the year (hello Che ta and Jovian got married a week before okay and their wedding cost millions while ours not even 10% of their budget :P) but everyone agrees mainly because we thought it will be use among us friends. Suddenly during the wedding everyone started using it and even the emcee announced it which make us feel like aiyayaya but xpe la at least we can view all photos tags by the invitees  hashtags are the best thing invented huhuhu Now let’s talk weddings…. We have 5 events in total to sum up our weddings (bridezilla mother and FIL remember haha) I will write an individual post for each event 

2 YEARS !!!

Owh Emm Gee, it has been 2 years since i last update my blog, eventho bukannya ada orang yang baca pon haha but the main reason i started this blog is to write about important event in my life so that in the future my kids can read about their mummy (cewah haha)anyway A LOT has happened in the past 2 years after reading my last post, my life now is totally 360 degrees different from 2012. let me sum up my past 2 years in a nut shell :

2012:
  1) Early of the year - still working at propertycrown
  2) Got myself a bf - haha can you imagine (p/s hes a jerk btw)
  3) April 2012 - Izwan and Manda got married yeay!! (went to Jakarta to attend their wedding)
  4) April 2012 - my bro's BFF (who is also a very close and dear friend to me) confessed to me that he has feelings for me (ya ya ya surprise kan) p/s- nothing happen since im still dating my ex bf (the jerk guy remember haha)
 5) May 2012 - My Birthday yeay yeay i turn 27
 6) June 2012 - broke up with my then bf because i cannot stand him anymore
 7) July 2012 - Continue life
 8) August 2012 - i tender my resignation from Propertycrown since i got a better deal at Country Heights Holdings
9) Sept 2012 - Iqa got Married Yeayyyyyyyyyy (owh my then bf invited her current gf to attend my best friend's wedding with him- yup hes a jerk like that :P)
10) Oct 2012 - My last day at Propertycrown yeayersss
11) Nov 2012 - Went for a month holiday to UK with Syam to visit Berg - more of a concert trip managed to catch Muse and The Killers concert woot woot, other than got brainwashed by the guys on how wonderful my bros bff is and i should consider open up to him but p/s dalam hati dah suka sebenarnya tapi jual mahal hahaha :P )
12) Dec 2012 - start working at new place loving it then but now so so la hahahaha start keluar dinner dinner with bros bff hahaha
13) 12 Dec 2012 - went to bens pavilion for dinner then after coffee at coffee bean pavilion and BAMMMM he proposed to me (told ya A LOT can happen in 2 years :P and my answer is ask my brother first and alhamdulillah after that all falls into places parents are super happy with it since he has been in the family for the past 10 years - mummy always said to me awak kawin dgn farid je la hahaha so mummy got her wishes)
14) Middle Dec 2012 - Mummy started the wedding hall hunting business (my mum is super bridezilla okay owh and yes u need at least a year notice to get a wedding hall in kl )

2013
1) Jan 2013 - the preparation begin but still in hush hush mode
2) Feb 2013 - announced the news to my BFF (they were super happy)
3) March 2013 - unofficial fiancee's birthday (preparation continue -bridezilla mother remember haha)
4) April 2013 - Went to Jakarta for fabric, wedding card hunting and meet the designer session (TQ MANDA!!!)
5) May 2013 - I turned 28 yooooooo (this time around i have an unofficial fiancee to celebrate it with - thanks for the wonderful dinner/dessert and iPad mini love it sayang)
6) June 2013 - planning on my engagement ceremony owh and book the hall for Farid's reception
7) 7 July 2013 - My engagement day ( he is now officially my fiancee)
8) Aug 2013 - Puasa Month, went to Jakarta for fitting session and picking up my wedding invitation card
9) Sept 2013 - Raya month, qiqi and safia's wedding finalising the wedding invites
10) Oct 2013 - start inviting people (total chaos i hate doing a seat down dinner wedding and msian to tell you the truth they dont understand the concept of RSVP!!!)
11) Nov 2013 - Got snatched by thief and need to undergo an operation since i broke my finger. the next day after OT fly to Jakarta to pick up my wedding dress ( a girl got to do what she needs to do haha thank God Farid accompanied me for the trip and help me to hand carry my wedding dress which are 12kilos heavy - remember my bridezilla mother haha) OWH OUR HEN PARTY - it was the best yet intimate celebration even the babies are invited haha
12) 12 Dec 2013 - my first year anniversary with Farid
13) 18 Dec 2013 - My Malam Bersiram and Malam Berinai
14) 19 Dec 2013 - My Khatam Quran and Akad Nikah Ceremony
15) 20 Dec 2013 - Papa's Birthday and my Wedding Reception
16) 22 Dec 2013 - Farid's side reception
